Ken Meyer – Endorsement

To all the constituents in District 1, on May 12th you will have the opportunity to decide who will represent you on the Scotts Bluff County board of Commissioners. Over the past year this board has dealt with many emotional and important decisions affecting the entire County. Some of those decisions were passed not because they were the best for the County, but because they had the necessary votes to move them forward. It’s time to put people on this board who will listen to constituents, employees, or anyone else. Unfortunately this hasn’t happened. We need board members who come to the meeting prepared, ready to discuss and participate in the decision-making process. 

I truly believe Lisa Betz-Marquez is that person. 

After getting to know her in the past year, I find her to be intelligent, well grounded, active in all aspects of the County. Her resume is so impressive. An educator, business owner,  Ag producer, and a warm and caring individual, she would be a real asset to this board. I am asking that you research the records and actions of current board members. I ask you to vote for Lisa Betz-Marquez in the Republican primary on May 12th. I do not think you will be disappointed, I know I won’t be.
