Our Future, Our Voice:
Three Pillars for a Stronger Scotts Bluff County
1. Fiscal Discipline & Best Value
Property taxes are a shared concern for all of us. As one of five Commissioners, I will be a voice for a "needs-over-wants" budget. I will work collaboratively with department heads to ensure the county lives within its means—focusing on the best long-term value for every dollar spent.
2. Supporting Ag, Business & Property Rights
As an ag producer, merchant, and landowner, I believe government should be a partner in progress. I will ensure the Commission respects private property rights and stays in its lane—providing the consistency businesses need to plant seeds and grow roots here.
3. Promoting Our Rich Heritage
By strategically promoting our natural beauty and historic landmarks, we bring "new money" into our local economy. This supports our hotels, restaurants and shops without increasing the tax burden on residents.
My Pledge to You
Over the past year, I've attended most meetings and witnessed firsthand what takes place on the board.
"When elected, I will change the culture of the Commissioner’s room by restoring the 'Public' to Public Service. I pledge to provide District I with an active, prepared voice—arriving well-researched, treating every speaker with professional courtesy, and never casting a 'rubber stamp' vote. I will maintain proactive transparency by sharing agendas in advance and providing 'District I Reports' so you always know the reasoning behind my decisions."

My Pledge to You...
Over the past year, I have consistently attended Commissioners Meetings as an informed observer of our local government. I have seen a lack of transparency and a dismissive attitude toward public input, where votes often appear decided before the discussion even begins.
If elected, I will change the culture of the Commissioners' room. I promise to arrive well-researched, to treat every speaker with professional courtesy, and to never cast a "rubber stamp" vote. I am running to restore the "Public" to Public Service and provide District I with an active, prepared voice.
